Animation Time! - Rupert Rig

Today's Inspiration:
My personal work is usually jump-started by something – either an emotion or an idea - but I tend to play it up beyond what I really feel, just for a stronger effect. Sometimes the emotion in my work is not really something I’m feeling, but just something I want the viewer to feel.

Today's Inspiration:
I don't consider them pictures... In reality I'm not drawing. I'm writing a story with a unique type of symbol.

Comics are an international language, they can cross boundaries and generations. Comics are a bridge between all cultures.

Build a Rabbit

Had a lovely day today. I got a lot of drawing done. I also took a trip to the library and got a book on Hirschfeld, Winsor McCay, Art of Animation, and a Chuck Jones book as well. I can't wait to delve into them! I'm almost done with my current sketchbook so I picked up a new one made by Pentalic. I wanted to get a Moleskine cause I've heard such good things about them, but the guy at Benny Haha said that he liked these ones better. So I figured I'd give them a chance.

Today's word of inspiration brought to you by Chris Oatley "Perfection is the enemy of done."
